Roundabouts an Informational Guide - Second Edition TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Report 672: Roundabouts: An Informational Guide – Second Edition explores the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of roundabouts. The report also addresses issues that may be useful in helping to explain the trade-offs associated with roundabouts.
This report updates the U.S. Federal Highway Administration’s Roundabouts: An Informational Guide, based on experience gained in the United States since that guide was published in 2000.

New roundabout driving rules introduced in December 1999 by New South Wales RTA in the Sydney, Australia area. Gives a detailed explanation of how to indicate (signal) when entering and exiting a roundabout. Includes a PDF file of their rules brochure. Utah DOT Roundabout Guidelines
The Park City Intermodal roundabout located on SR-224 in Park City and the Bloomington Interchange roundabouts on Interstate 15 in St. George City were approved by UDOT. The state limits roundabouts to 2 circulatory lanes. A roundabout shall be justified based on the following - A capacity analysis shall be conducted to determine the Level of Service (LOS) (delay) for a roundabout compared to a traffic signal or other control devices. The analysis shall be performed using Rodel. The analysis shall compare the LOS based on the delay encountered.
