Welcome to Roundabouts USA
This site is dedicated to free traffic flow through the design and use of roundabouts. Visit this site often to get the most recent news and information about the progress of roundabouts in the USA. There are currently around 2,600 modern roundabouts operating in the USA that were constructed since 1990 not counting the many small neighborhood traffic calming circles or the large 'monster-size' rotaries encountered in the northeastern states.
This roundabout site is provided to people interested in learning more about roundabouts: what they are, where they are currently located, how effective they are, and how they operate. Visit the Photo Gallery to view project examples (by various designers) of roundabouts constructed since 1990. Read articles about roundabout issues accross the USA. Find out if a roundabout is right for your location.
